Well so much for sunny weather, the weather is not flash, windy (though not as bad as Wellington) and showers so not really much you can do.I did manage to take the camera nd big lens over to the reserve behind the camp and take a few shots of the local wildlife (birds) ..
Here is a Caspian Tern
These guys are Godwits, there must have been about 100 of them. They come all the way from up north (Asia, Japan, Korea and China) - more details are in this link -www.nzbirds.com/birds/kuaka.html
An intresting little bird..
Also in the area are the good ole Oyster Catchers.
