Pier or Jetty that is the Question ..
Does it really matter ? anyway its up the road, just past Katikati, at a place called Kauri Point Historic Reserve, it extends out 200 meters and is a very popular fishing place, also the pohutukawa's look great and when out in flower should be something. A short walk to the point takes you to pa fortification sites.

Geez, it's just a "structure built over some water", why do you need a fancy name for it?? :-)
Anyhow, when are you going to be in town for Gill's art show? Which one is it?

Its on this weekend "Rotary Art Show" at Southwards, Gills has entered some work but we are not able to attend ..
