The Hotel, Bank and Gold Mine

At Saint Bathans, the hotel is still in business but the gold has gone
so bank no longer in use.


And this is whats left of the gold mine, it used to be a hill 120 mtrs high
but the sluicing left a large pit and when mining finished it filled with water
and became the "Blue Lake" due to the mineral content of the area..

It was also great to catch up with Gills cousin who lives just down the road
