It did not look to flash from the lodge at National Park, lots of cloud around the mountain but getting up there we where above the cloud at Knoll Ridge, where we had a coffee and watched the skiers in action, a great last visit for the season as the Whakapapa side closes on the 26th of this month..
The mountain just looked great, no wonder people like skiing in this type of weather.
I am not going to get my walk to the crater lake as the person who I was going to go with will not make it down before the season closes, bit of a shame but there is always next time.
